Emergency First Aid CPR C/AED Recert

The Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid Recertification Course is designed for individuals seeking to renew their Emergency First Aid & CPR Level/AED certification. This one-day, evaluation-based course focuses on reinforcing essential skills and knowledge to ensure participants are prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations. The course covers key topics such as airway emergencies, breathing and circulation emergencies and wound care.  Participants will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate critical skills and perform necessary interventions. To be eligible for recertification, participants must have a current certification from a recognized agency.  This course is for recertification purposes only, and no formal instruction will be provided. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 3-year certification in Emergency First Aid & CPR C/AED, which meets the requirements of provincial and territorial worker safety and insurance boards for Basic level.

Recognized Organizations for First Aid include: Canadian Red Cross, Lifesaving Society, Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation, St. John Ambulance, Canadian Ski Patrol

 

Prerequisites: Emergency First Aid with CPR C from an approved agency (cannot be expired) (see course description)
