First Aid Instructor Recertification

The Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor Recertification Course is designed for current First Aid Instructors seeking to renew their certification. This one-day, evaluation-based course focuses on professional development and ensures that instructors maintain the necessary teaching skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality First Aid training. Participants will engage in a review of instructional techniques, course content updates, and effective teaching strategies. The course also includes assessments to evaluate participants' ability to demonstrate key skills, manage diverse learning environments, and deliver content in an engaging and effective manner. To be eligible for recertification, participants must have a current certification.  Upon successful completion, participants will receive a renewed certification valid for three years.

 

Prerequisites: Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor (cannot be expired), Have taught a minimum of 3 courses (one must be SFA) during the certification cycle (Courses which were taught in combination (e.g. Standard First Aid and Emergency First Aid) do not count as separate courses for the purpose of recertif
